Custom of the Week: Misty of Chincoteague

I know that this week’s pony doesn’t look quite like most of the custom I’ve been featuring on the blog, but it holds a special place in my heart. I read the Misty books when I was a little girl, and fell in love. The first book that I wrote (My Life With Pone) in 4th grade was basically a giant rip-off of the Misty series, except the horse was a green pegasus 😛 So to find a My Little Pony of Misty was a real treat!

  1. Love this! Misty has always held a special place in my heart because it was the first “big person” book (as in not a picture book) that I read all by myself. I still remember that feeling of triumph when I finished. I actually bought a copy to reread about a year ago, but it’s still sitting on the TBR pile.
