Custom of the Week: Demona

In my front flower bed I have a little gargoyle that Hubs bought back when we first lived together many years ago (actually, that was the summer I started writing Fie Eoin). He’s a bit beaten up from the weather, but I’ve always really liked him and the way he sits out there and protects the house. I love the idea of gargoyle protectors in general, and probably most of this comes from the television show, Gargoyles. Do you remember it? At night the gargoyles would come alive and protect the city. It was dark and awesome, and today’s custom comes from that show.

I love the claw-mark symbol and red eyes.

  1. Gargoyles was the fandom that got me into writing! I wrote fanfiction for it for years. (That, thankfully, has since been purged from the internet because I was in 4th grade at the time.) Gorgeous, amazing show.

And this is so cool. Totally digging the eyes and the wings. 🙂

  2. Ahhh!! I love it!! I was a huge Gargoyles fan. Come to think of it, Demona is the only Gargoyles action figure I bought and it’s still around here somewhere. So cute in pony style! ^_^
